An important update on townhall-tracker

Morning,

Firstly, thank you very much subscribing to this newsletter. You did so with a sense of civic duty which is what unites us and makes Kingston a great place to live.

I apologize for the radio silence over the past few months, but I have some exciting news to share. I'm thrilled to announce the launch of www.townhall-tracker.ca!

The beehiiv platform was a great starting point for launching this newsletter and helped shape its format. However, the inherent limitations of the beehiiv platform restricted the range of features I could implement.

The new platform will allow me more flexibility to experiment. If you’re subscribed to this newsletter, you’ll automatically be subscribed to www.townhall-tracker.ca and should expect to start receiving updates from that domain. I request that you check your spam folder in the next few days if you haven’t received an update from [email protected]. You will no longer receive updates from this newsletter

Lastly, in the spirit of experimentation, I would love to hear from you on how I could make engaging with city council easier for you .

  1. how do you currently keep up with city council meetings?

  2. what’s the biggest challenge you face in staying in staying informed about local government?

  3. what specific information do you wish you could get from city council meetings?

  4. how do you feel when you miss important updates from city council meetings?

Please send answers to [email protected]

Regards,
